WCADA has been delivering services to substance misusers, their families and the wider community for over 30 years. These services include:

Abstinence treatment programmes including a programme based on the minnesota model which is the 1st five steps of the AA 12 step programme.

Professional information and support regarding alcohol and drugs.

Support to help reduce or stop substance use which could include one to one work, counselling, or group work.

Assessments and care planning to help ensure the appropriate services are offered at the right time.

Free injecting equipment and the opportunity to safely discard used equipment.

Safer injecting and overdose awareness information including Naloxone training and dispensing.

Outreach support (including clinics in Cymmer, Ystaylfera and Maesteg).

Tenancy support – help to access accommodation, maintaining a home, budgeting and debt advice, and ensuring safety and security in the home.

Access to local sexual health advice.

Information, advice and support for family members and carers.

Specialist service for Young People (SWITCH).

Specialist service for Veterans.

Diversionary activities such as walks, cookery, music and IT.

Specialist services in the public sector prisons in Wales.

Information about other agencies and support they can offer.
